I have been so busy with sessions in the last few months that I hadn't gotten around to creating a post about this shoot. But I've been wanting to because it was such a great session with this photogenic, easy-going senior despite the gloomy weather and it deserves to be highlighted!

While visiting the East Coast back in September, I headed up to Pennsylvania, where I grew up, to meet up with a high-school friend and take senior pictures for her daughter, Brynn. Wait... senior pictures for her daughter? We are old enough to have kids in high school? How did that happen?!?

Brynn works at a golf course that has some beautiful old buildings, including a barn, and very picturesque countryside, so her Mom suggested the location for the shoot. I left Virginia in the early morning rain on our scheduled date, worrying about the weather. The rain persisted right up until I arrived then dwindled to a mist for most of our session. We did end up hiding under some trees when it got a little heavier but got some great photos. 

It was great to visit with an old friend (no pun intended?) and see how her beautiful daughter has grown up!
